On August 27, Xiaopeng MONA M03, a compact car owned by Xiaopeng Motors, was officially launched, with a total of three configuration models. The new car is developed on a new platform, which is unrelated to the vehicle platform of Xiaopeng P5, and provides two power versions with a maximum range of 620 kilometers under CLTC conditions. Xiaopeng MONA M03 has a total of 5 body colors, including dark night black, Star Que gray, star Hanmi, Star Flare blue, nebula white, all with standard 18-inch rims, and optional 19-inch rims. The car is not equipped with the dashboard and HUD head-up display function, driving information is displayed through the upper left corner area of the suspension center control screen.
The Xopeng MONA M03 has a 15.6-inch center control screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 cockpit chip and 16GB of system memory as standard. The main interface is the 3D model of the vehicle, and supports 3D control of the car, and the navigation destination can be quickly entered at the top for navigation query. The Dock bar at the bottom is divided into four areas, corresponding to the car control quick area, comfort control area, media control area, and common application area.
Maps are rendered in 3DAlthough the machine system of Xiaopeng MONA M03 is not the AI Guet system that Xiaopeng has pushed to Xiaopeng G9, P7i and G6 in May this year, it also has 3D map, lane level navigation, music map atmosphere lamp linkage, wooden fish Buddha beads and other special applications. At the same time, some functions of Xiaopeng Guet system are expected to be put down to Xiaopeng MONA M03. More new features will be introduced through OTA upgrades in the future. As for the plan to switch to the Tianguet system for Xiaopeng MONA M03, Xiaopeng will formulate specific plans according to the actual user feedback after listing.

Xiaopeng MONA M03 sub-instrument panel and center console are connected with a cup holder and wireless charging panel. The interior of the central armrest box is partitioned, providing a smaller storage space at the front. In addition, the car is equipped with a panoramic canopy of 1.22 square meters and an electric hatchback taildoor. The trunk volume is 621 liters, and the maximum loading capacity can be extended to 1,603 liters.

Previously, in response to netizens’ questions about the design of Xiaopeng MONA M03 without an instrument, Xiaopeng officially launched an optional configuration of a suspended full LCD instrument, priced at 599 yuan. In addition, XOPeng will also provide sunshade options for the panoramic canopy of XOPeng MONA M03, using silver-coated ice crystal fabric, and will optimize the convenience of installation and storage.
As for the intelligent driving program, the official said that the intelligent driving program of Xiaopeng MONA M03 provides two versions: M03 basic version and M03 MAX. The intelligent driving program of M03 basic version is equipped with 20+ sensing hardware, L2 level assisted driving, and 12 active safety functions as standard. And the full scene intelligent parking including the edge of the guillotine parking space, the side direction turn-in parking with the limit pole. On top of the basic version, the MAX version equipped with high-level intelligent driving will add high-speed and urban NGP pilot-assisted driving, off-car parking and intelligent warehousing functions, which will be delivered after the Spring Festival in 2025.
In terms of power, the Xopeng MONA M03 uses a front-drive form, offering two specifications of drive motors and multiple versions of the range:
M03 515 motor maximum power 140 kW, peak torque 225 nm, matching capacity of 51.8 KWH lithium iron phosphate battery pack, corresponding to different rim specifications CLTC range of 515 km (18 inch rim) and 485 km (19 inch rim);
The M03 620 motor has a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 250 nm. It matches the lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 62.2 KWH, and the CLTC range of different rims is 620 km (18 inch rims) and 585 km (19 inch rims).
The M03 580 Max has the same powertrain parameters as the M03 620 and the same lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 62.2 KWH, although the CLTC range is 580 km (18 inch rims).
