Lu Tian, general manager of BYD Dynasty Network sales Department, recently released the official picture of the 2025 Song L EV(photo | configuration | inquiry) through his personal social media platform, and revealed that the new car will be officially launched at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show on August 30. The highlight of this new car is its upgraded Eye of God advanced intelligent driving system.
According to the official map released, the tail design of the 2025 Song L EV continues the style of the current model, including the through-line taillight, roof spoiler and high brake light elements are retained. At the same time, the rear active electric lift spoiler will also continue to appear in the new car, and the overall appearance is not expected to change much compared to the cash, and the main upgrade will focus on the intelligent driving system and configuration.
The front face and side shape of the new car are consistent with the current model, combined with previously exposed spy photos and intelligent driving version information, 2025 Song L EV will be equipped with DiPilot 100 “God’s Eye” high-level intelligent driving assistance system, equipped with 12 ultrasonic radar, 5 millimeter wave radar and 11 cameras. It can realize a number of functions such as high speed navigation, automatic parking assistance, mobile remote control parking, close valet parking, shift lever lane change and automatic emergency braking.
In terms of power, the new car is expected to be consistent with the current Song L EV, offering two power options of rear and four-wheel drive. The rear-drive model will be available in 150kW and 230kW power versions, while the all-wheel-drive model will have dual front and rear motors for a total of 380kW. In terms of battery life, the new car will be equipped with 71.8kWh and 87.04kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs with two capacities, and according to CLTC conditions, the comprehensive range is 550km, 662km (rear drive long life version) and 602km (four-wheel drive)
