Xopeng Motor has announced that the much-anticipated Xopeng P7(photo)+ model will be officially launched in the fourth quarter of this year. The new car features the latest design concepts, and its wheelbase even surpasses that of the Audi A8, providing a spacious interior for the driver and passenger. Xopeng P7+ will be equipped with a new generation of Xopeng AI hawk-eye vision solution, the first Lofic architecture, greatly improving the vehicle’s visual perception ability and space-time understanding ability.
The XOPeng P7+ is 5.056 meters long, larger than the Xopeng P7i and more spacious than the Xiaomi SU7. Its rear design is unique, providing a fixed tail, and the “dart-type” lamp set has similarities with the Wuling Starlight.
He Xiaopeng, chairman and CEO of Xiaopeng Motors, said that after the delivery of the intelligent driving system of Xiaopeng P7+, a smooth driving experience can be achieved across the country. It is expected that by the end of the fourth quarter of this year, the system will enable a door-to-door intelligent driving experience. By the second half of 2025, Xiaopeng P7+ will achieve class L3 intelligent assisted driving, and the number of takeovers per hundred kilometers will be less than 1. By 2026, in some low-speed scenarios, vehicles will be able to drive in a driverless state, effectively solving 99% of extreme driving problems.
As can be seen from the spy photos, the interior of the XPENG P7+ is equipped with a double-width steering wheel of the same model as the X9, a full-LCD instrument, a large-size narrow border center control screen and a shift. The vehicle and machine system is equipped with a new AI Guet system and Qualcomm 8295 chip, which supports a new UI interface, full-screen HD model modeling, “global large language model” and other functions, greatly improving the interaction ability of the car assistant AI small P.
In terms of power, the Xopeng P7+ will be equipped with an all-aluminum intelligent chassis and an intelligent thermal management system. The motor power is 180kW and 230kW respectively, and the maximum speed can reach 200km/h. The new car will match the lithium iron phosphate battery pack provided by Yiwei Power, and the charging efficiency has been significantly improved.
With the launch of the XPENG P7+, Xpeng Motors will continue to lead innovation in the field of smart electric vehicles.
