Recently, FAW Toyota’s new RAV4 Rongfang (picture | configuration | inquiry) model has begun to train dealers to prepare for the upcoming listing. According to internal employee news, the new RAV4 Rongfang is expected to officially meet consumers on September 12.
According to official information, the main version of the new RAV4, the Style Plus version, will be equipped with an electric tailgate, while the HEV Elite Plus four-wheel drive version adds the function of a digital key. In terms of exterior design, the new model has optimized and upgraded the details of the central net and wheel eyebrows, and the interior has also adopted a newly designed seat.
Compared with the old and new models, the front grille of the new RAV4 Style Plus adopts the styling of the HEV top version, while the front bumper panel, side wheel eyebrows, side door lower trim, rear rear door trim and rear bumper panel have been improved. In terms of powertrain, the new RAV4 will continue to offer two options: a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and a 2.5L hybrid powertrain with a CVT and E-CVT stepless transmission respectively.
This move by FAW Toyota indicates that the new RAV4 Rongfang is about to usher in the market, providing consumers with more choices, but also showing the brand’s determination to continue to forge ahead and upgrade products.
