Nowadays, the competition in the new energy vehicle market is becoming increasingly fierce, and consumers are more rational, no longer blindly pursuing new power brands, but paying more attention to the comprehensive strength of vehicles. Choosing a car that is both fuel efficient and offers a great driving experience has become a goal for many people.
On September 9, BYD Dynasty network flagship sedan – 2025 Han family officially launched, including Han DM(picture | configuration | inquiry) -I and Han EV(picture | configuration | inquiry) two power types of nine models, the price range of 165,800-235,800 yuan. Among them, the Han DM-i 121KM elite model, the price is 165,800 yuan, the loss of fuel consumption is as low as 4.2L/100KM, the 100 km acceleration is 7.9 seconds, and the comprehensive range is up to 1300 km, showing a strong competitiveness. So how does the car actually perform, and is it worth getting? Today we will examine it in detail.
As an annual model, the 2025 Han Family continues the overall outline and sliding back coupe style of the current model in appearance, but has been optimized and upgraded in details. The most significant change is that the Han DM-i model is replaced with the same closed front design as the Han EV, canceling the traditional air intake grille, which is more visually coordinated and unified, and is more in line with the trend of new energy vehicles. The shape of the air intakes on both sides of the front perimeter has also been adjusted, with the Han DM-i having a denser intake grille, while the Han EV has a more concise design.
On the side of the body, the elegant body proportions and smooth lines create a dynamic visual effect, which is 4995/1910/1495mm in length, width and height respectively, and 2920mm in wheelbase, compared to the old Han DM-i Honor version, the length of the car has increased by 20mm. The addition of hidden door handles, rear privacy glass and large-size low-wind resistance wheels further enhances the vehicle’s sense of sophistication and technology. It is worth mentioning that the smart driving version is equipped with a watchtower lidar above the roof to support its DiPilot 300 “Eye of God” advanced intelligent driver assistance system.
In the rear part of the car, the through-line Chinese end light remains an iconic design of the BYD family and is highly recognizable. The upturned duckling tail and the bottom diffuser add a touch of movement, with C-shaped aerodynamic decorations on both sides, taking into account the visual beauty and sense of movement, and the dynamic design has also been recognized by some consumers.
The interior layout of the 2025 Han family is basically the same as that of the current model, but it has been fine-tuned in terms of details, such as the cancellation of the dragon scale style wood decorative plate on the door panel, and the car UI has been redesigned, and the overall style is more concise and modern, more in line with the aesthetic of young users. The center console is still a circular design, equipped with a large rotating center control screen, built-in DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit Advanced version (5G) system, based on a powerful D100(6nm) chip, integrated navigation, entertainment, voice control and other functions.

The 2025 Han DM-I model is equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, which is composed of 1.5T engine and motor, of which the maximum power of the engine is 102kW, the peak torque is 231N·m, the maximum power of the motor is 145kW, the peak torque is 325N·m, and the power performance is improved compared with the current model.
In terms of battery, the new car matching capacity of 18.3kWh and 37.6kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery, CLTC working conditions of pure electric range of 121 km and 200 km, power consumption as low as 4.2L/100KM and 4.5L/100KM, the official zero 100km acceleration time is 7.9 seconds and 6.9 seconds, respectively. The comprehensive range can reach 1300 km and 1400 km.
The pure electric version adopts the single-motor front-drive and dual-motor four-drive layout, the maximum power of the single-motor version is 160kW, 180kW and 200kW, and the corresponding CLTC operating range is 506 km, 605 km and 715 km, respectively. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 380kW, a peak torque of 700N·m, a CLTC operating range of 610 kilometers, and a zero hundred kilometer acceleration of only 3.9 seconds. The 605km and 715km versions are also equipped with a full-range 800-volt high-voltage platform for faster charging.
