Wuling, known as the “Wuling God Car” because of its affordable price, recently released a new electric car in Thailand, Wuling Bingo (photo | configuration | inquiry) (Binguo EV). The new car will be available in four local tiers, priced between 419,000 and 449,000 baht.
It is worth mentioning that the price of this pure electric car in China is only between 5.68 and 88,800 yuan, compared with Thailand’s higher threshold; For reference, the domestic version of Wuling Bingo provides three different mileage models of 203km, 333km and 410km, while Thailand only provides 333km mileage models.
Bingo is one of the main models of Wuling pure level station, since the listing, with the “beautiful shape, large space, energy consumption, high safety, good driving, excellent service” and other advantages of the majority of domestic users recognized, the cumulative sales exceeded 280,000 units, the first half of this year cumulative sales of 68,000 units.
In Thailand, the Bingo is the second model launched under the brand, with the first Air EV being launched there last year. At present, Wuling automobile brand has covered more than 40 countries and regions around the world, and the cumulative export volume has exceeded 1 million units. In the first five months of 2024, Wuling accounted for more than half of the market share of electric vehicles in Indonesia, ranking first in market share for three consecutive years.
Looking back at the new car, the Bingo measures 3950mm, 1708mm and 1580mm in length, width and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2560mm. Its rear seats support a 5/5 tilting ratio, and the overall overhead compartment has a huge capacity of 790 liters.
The appearance of Bingoo tends to be close to the cute style of women, the interior design takes into account fashion and retro, and uses the 10.25 inch suspension dual large screen (center console screen + dashboard) design, the overall tone is mainly based on two color combination design; In Thailand, the new car is also available in shallow bay green, breeze blue, and milk coffee white body color.
In terms of power and range, as mentioned above, Bingo only offers a 333km range model in Thailand, and its electric motor power is 30kW and 50kW respectively. As for charging, Bingo is both fast and slow, and fast charging takes only 35 minutes (SOC 30%-80% at room temperature).
