Sales of 80,000 units in a month! Byd is on the right track! Industrial miracle or commercial miracle?
In the past August, BYD’s total brand sales of 373,083 vehicles, compared with more than 340,000 in July, an increase of about 30,000 vehicles. This increase is equivalent to the monthly sales volume of a zero-run car. It has to be admitted that today BYD’s influence and brand trust in the new energy market is indeed far ahead. So it is almost obvious that BYD is likely to sell more than 400,000 vehicles a month in the next few months.
Among this sales, the most brilliant results are from BYD Qin L and Seal 06, which were just listed on May 28 (picture | configuration | inquiry). Qin L and Seal 06 belong to the same platform model, all kinds of core data and technical calibration are identical, and they are almost only distinguished in the details of appearance and interior. Qin L’s appearance is relatively moderate and atmospheric, while Seal 06’s appearance is relatively young and fashionable. In July, the sales volume of both reached more than 54,000 vehicles. Combined, the two have sold more than 80,000 vehicles.
According to official information released by BYD. Both Qin L and Seal 06 sold more than 40,000 bikes in August. Therefore, the sales of the two of them can be calculated superimposed, and the monthly sales of 80,000 vehicles is extremely rare in today’s automobile market, whether it is domestic or overseas. This also reflects the market recognition of BYD’s latest DM technology and product positioning of the new model, as well as the success in price positioning.
For the above two models, their core advantage comes from BYD’s 5th generation DM technology. Both cars are powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an E-CVT transmission. The CLTC pure electric range of the two cars is also 80 km and 120 km. With the support of the 5th generation DM technology, the NEDC loss fuel consumption of the two models reached 2.9 liters to 3.08 liters per 100 kilometers. According to the NEDC standard, its comprehensive range of full fuel is more than 2,000 kilometers. And its 100km acceleration time also reached 7.5S to 7.9S.
Of course, it should be pointed out here that the fuel consumption measurement standard of the above two models is the NEDC standard, rather than the WLTC standard or CLTC standard commonly used in China. According to the feed fuel consumption standard of the WLTC standard, the feed fuel consumption range of the above two models is 3.8 liters to 3.98 liters per 100 kilometers. And such fuel consumption performance naturally falls far short of the standards of industrial miracles advertised by BYD.
Only the east is not bright and the west is bright, although the above two models do not meet the standards of industrial miracles, but in business it can be called a commercial miracle. According to the sales of 80,000 units in August, this model alone has exceeded the sales of Great Wall Motor, more than Ideal Car and NiO, plus Nezha. That model alone brought BYD 800 million yuan in cash flow.
With such a sales scale and market recognition of BYD, his future must be unlimited.
